Blog roll
After a brief period contributing to Sasha Castel's popular and much-missed blog, I continued following a large number of blogs, and plan to create my own soon, largely focussing on technical stories and programming. In the mean time, a few of the blogs I read regularly:
- Erica Douglass - Founder of Simpli, the company which hosted one of my colocated servers until she sold it for a million dollars. The company, not my server. A very nice person who has some very interesting and insightful posts on business, investment and real estate.
- Technical Careers at Microsoft - Job hunting tips and personal stories from Redmond.
- The Old New Thing - Microsoft's Raymond Chen giving us his take on programming (particularly backwards compatibility and the hoops MS jumps through to avoid breaking existing code), other computer matters, cycling, opera and movies. A great read, frequently updated - just don't suggest it's the official Microsoft position on anything!
- The Daily WTF - a programming blog collecting examples of truly insane computing feats guaranteed to make you say 'WTF?!' - the biggest of which is surely the new name, 'Worse Than Failure'.
